Jay founded The Benson Law Firm on January 1, 2004, after nearly 20 years of practicing law as a partner in two separate Kirksville law firms. In 2010, Mark L. Mark Williams' practice areas are personal injury and wrongful death litigation arising from automobile/truck accidents, dangerous and defective products, premises liability, work-related injuries, criminal defense, general civil litigation and Social Security disability. Mark has practiced law in Kirksville for over seventeen years before joining The Benson Law Firm.
The Benson Law Firm has a qualified, hard-working staff available to assist with the needs of its clients. Legal Assistant Dawn Shaffer is responsible for assisting the firm and its clients in the prosecution of claims for personal injury and wrongful death as a result of motor vehicle/truck accidents, defective products, premises defects and other types of negligent, careless and reckless conduct.
Legal Assistant Tammy Linderman assists the firm and its clients who suffer work-related injuries or death in Workers' compensation claims. Tammy also assists the firm in it's representation of criminal defendants, including those facing felony and misdemeanor charges, and driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked and other traffic charges.
